Torino’s new shirt sponsorship deal kicks in and Alessandro Rosina launches his own fashion line.
The
Granata announced today that they have signed a three-year sponsorship
contract with Renault Trucks, worth in the region of £2m.
The
company already sponsors Olympique Lyonnais and their logo will be on
the Toro shirts starting from Sunday’s match against Inter.
Meanwhile, star player Rosina has launched his own fashion range based on his nickname, ‘Rosinaldo.’
“Despite
being proud of my Italian nationality, I always found the nickname
Rosinaldo to be fun, especially as it is due to my playing style being
similar to the Brazilian football world,” said the trequartista.
“The
fans have asked me many times to create some kind of clothing with this
brand and so we designed the logo based on a photograph after my goal
against Catania in 2007, raising my arm in dedication towards the
supporters.”
This
is not purely an ego trip, though, as the proceeds from the Rosinaldo
line will go to ASMEV, the association of volunteer medical staff
working in Eritrea.
