Even stormy weather could not hold back the people of Dallas from attending
> what is now being recognized as one of The Best Concerts put on in the city.
> YPFDJ-Dallas along with the Eritrean community is once again pleased to
> announce that their recent guayla was an astounding success. People from all
> around Texas made the road trip to Dallas, anxious to see the talented
> Korchach and Bekita Ali perform their number one hits in yet another city on
> their nationwide tour. The venue was packed to capacity, and the guests
> shared that this was by far one of the largest organized concerts put on in
> the city of Dallas in a very long time.
>
> Korchach and Bekita's amazing stage presence had the people of Dallas on
> their feet dancing throughout the night. In the middle of the evening,
> YPFDJ Dallas aired a special presentation about a project helping orphans in
> Eritrea. The project was first initiated in Sweden, but the chapter as a
> whole was so inspired by the footage aired about the project at the recent
> annual YPFDJ conference, that they decided they wanted to help the cause.
> *To Save a Child is to Save a Life...*the aim of this project is to help
> young orphaned children in Eritrea. The orphanage is located in Asmara and
> has been running for many years. By the generosity and benevolent spirit
> of the patrons present, the chapter was able to raise over $1000 to donate
> to the orphanage. The chapter members are still taking donations for this
> particular cause and are also excited to announce that they will soon be
> taking on a similar initiative in the weeks to come, sponsoring another
> orphanage in Eritrea. The night continued on beautifully, and with the
> combination of outstanding singers and excellent company, there was an
> pleasant ambiance in the venue carrying the spirit of unity and joy amongst
> the Eritreans of Dallas.
>
> The organizers would like to thank the Eritrean Community members of DFW
> for their continued unconditional support!
