Sawa National Vocational Training Center offering various training course to
over 2,000 students

Sawa, 23 September 2009 - The Sawa National Vocational Training Center is
currently offering various training courses to a total of 2,300 students,
according to Mr. Fesehaye Kidane, director of the Center.
Accordingly, 19 different fields of study are being provided in 5
disciplines, namely Business and Administration, Agricultural Technology,
Construction Technology, operation of modern agricultural machineries and
construction.
Indicating that students who fail to score passing mark in the high school
leaving certificate exam are able to join the vocational training center, he
pointed out that the spirit of competitiveness among students is gaining
momentum and that concerted action is being taken to upgrade the quality of
the courses.
Mr. Fesehaye further explained that efforts are being exerted to create
conducive ground for students to joint fields of study that deemed fit for
fulfilling the interests of both male and female students. The necessary
infrastructure facilities are also being put in place to this end, he added.

The director went on to say that there are also plans to offer diploma
courses to those students who demonstrate academic excellence in the
certificate course.
