The dream of Eritrean-Diaspora coming together was concepted in early 2004. Painfully slow, the idea grew to reality. Identifying the many voices shouting honor in accordance to Eritrean values took more than was calculated. But, it was just a matter of time for EriArtista to form. Each EriArtista voice was fighting to bring a new edit into the international music culture. They individually fought hard, and it was only a matter of time they would win. Loosely in 2004, a search went on to seek each talent. Finally, there sure were strong voices shouting across the world. All over the globe Eritreans were coming strong! Shouting hard and astute! Declaring their true essence and values. Hence the spiritual birth of EriArtista! Of course, the year 2010 made it happen. The birth of EriArtista in Sawa Festival 2010 became a reality!
Come to San Diego, California; it is a delight treat. You will meet Layne Tadess [LT] soaring to the heights with his reggae rhythm; determined to bring the reggae art translate Eritrean. LT is one heck of a sober artist. But more enormously Eritrean!
Before you leave the US, why don't you fly to Atlanta; and you will find the Born Rebel Queen Nefertiti [Suzy Abraha] mesmerizing the hip-hop culture with her beliefs and honor for her up-bringing; teaching the world some sense! Galvanizing a culture she is poised to influence. A proud Eritrean of course!
Don't get lazy, before you leave the continent, fly out to Seattle. You will meet three adorable sisters who are so loved by the whole world. It is the EriAm Sisters! And they will be giggly to meet you. You'd be one lucky person to spend a musical time with the sisters. They are a dream come true! And they declare their Eritrean values!
Got your passport? Well, let's fly to Toronto, Canada. You don't have to search hard. You will hear a voice, an Eritrean voice represented by Bemnet Tekleyohannes. The Gospel and R&B singer will tower the bells of the Cathedrals. Of course, she will summon you to be her audience. You can't resist. She has a cut of sincerity! Of course, she is an Eritrean!
Well, let's cross the Atlantic, and fly to Sweden, and all you have do is open your ears. You will hear Betty Zere silently pushing her POP talent across the globe. Betty is the youngest next generation of POP for Sweden. And that is why she is on the Swedish TV all over. Of course, she is an Eritrean!
You know? Don't leave the continent soon, because Rutha Mokonen [aka: the Diamond] is punching through with her R&B too. You will notice her soon. You can't miss her, because she is a Diamond. Her voice is magical and sober. Enticing and fashionable; she earns a title for a talent of the decade. No question, she is an Eritrean!
Now, Europeans have the best transportation. Why not hop on a train and travel to England. Winta Efrem is there on the billboards. Her voice will surrender you, and you will fall in love with her style. You are not the only one. The whole Europe adores her. Winta is alert of her heritage, and she declares herself as an Eritrean!
