To all brothers and , sisters . sons and , daughters .mothers and, fathers in Ereitrean womb, There we have another Eritrean festival in western Canada in the city of Edmonton . The annual NIGDET was great as usual, we had young and old and the one in between came from the city of Winnipeg Manitoba, from the city Regina and Saskatoon Saskatchewan, and from the host city of Edmonton and city of Calgary, Alberta, both days August 7,8/2010. we had children sports , poem reading, soccer comptition among youngsters, as usual we had great intertainment and seminar b y Mr, Rissom Semere, also gave us current development of Eritrea's economy, education and health, at the same time there was questions by the seminarians, it was all answered courtousley and promptely to the great sutisfaction of the audience. Also i observed from semeres responce that the future of Eritrea and its poeple is bright there is no single doubt, my self i had great joy and i feel others had the same, in particularly there was this young girl of 10 or 11 years old , she read a poem , i was so impressed with her and the content of the poem and clear comand of the tigrignia language. also we had a lot of Eritrean momorabilia, traditional clothing and cd,s aveilable to chose.
Hope next year it will be bigger and better.
