Twenty-four Ethiopian soldiers killed in ambush

An urgent report received by Radio Freedom says that units of Ogaden National Liberation Front [ONLF], have carried out an ambush on an enemy convoy passing through Balambalis which lies between Elele oilfield and Una Dhere, where the weyane [Ethiopian government] has a military base to protect the oilfield.
Two enemy vehicles and their contents were destroyed and 24 soldiers were killed in the attack.
The report adds many more soldiers were wounded and the ONLF fighters captured all provisions and weapons belonging to the weyane convoy. Details of the attack will be broadcast later.
