Salah Abdalla affirms commitment of two parties to Holding of Referendum and Acceptance of its Outcome
Khartoum, Sept.14 (SUNA) - The Presidential Security Advisor, Gen. Salah Abdallah, has affirmed the commitment of the two partners of the Comprehensive Agreement (CPA) to completion of the referendum steps and the acceptance of its outcome
Following meeting with the visiting Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Salih, at his office Tuesday Abdalla said to SUNA that the meeting came in the framework of the distinguished and friendly ties between Sudan and Eritrea and to inform on the situation in Sudan, especially regarding the implementation of the CPA
The Presidential Security Advisor thanked the Eritrean Minister for the keenness and concern of his country with the issues of Sudan and for supporting to its stances at the regional and international forums
It is to be recalled that Eritrea is a member in the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and was one of the countries which contributed to the sgning of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in 2005
