Amazing initiatives are taking place throughout the world in developing
nations by conscious people who want to give back to society. The summer of
2010 proved just that when hundreds of Eritrean youth traveled back to
Eritrea with one common goal in mind, to give back to their homeland.
One project that many participated in was the N'Gherba project, a youth-run
initiative to plant 1 MILLION trees across Eritrea over the next 3 years to
assist with fighting deforestation and preserve our lands from erosion and
global warming effects. Over 1000 trees were planted on the campuses of
Halhale and Adi KeyiH College, and many more are still being planted to
date.

Coordinator, Ruth Negash at Ngherbaprogram@gmail.com. It only costs $20/yr
to sponsor a tree in Eritrea (this will cover all the watering and care it
needs for the year) *become a Tree Amigo and sponsor a tree*!
