Tokyo October 4, 2010: H.E.Mr. SEMERE Russom the Minister of Education of Eritrea participated, on the invitation extended from the Government of Japan, in the Science and Technology Forum held from October 3 – 5 October in Kyoto Japan.
The Minister also participated in the side line of this conference in the 2nd Japan Africa Science and Technology Ministers' meeting organized by the Cabinet office on October 3, 2010. The main theme of the participation of Eritrea in this meeting was “Eritrea’s coastal environment’s significance to international science and technology cooperation”.
In related information provided by the Minister to the Embassy of the State of Eritrea to Japan, the Minister expressed his satisfaction on the continued popular campaign accomplishment by student and staff, where 266,219 participated,
to improve the land cover of the country from 1994 to 2008.
