Al-Qirbi praises Yemen-Eritrea cooperation relations

ASMARA, Oct. 22 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu Baker al-Qirbi has praised the special relations existing between Eritrea and Yemen.
After a meeting with Eritrea President Isayas Afewerki in which he delivered him a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh, al-Qirbi said that the message highlighted the need for fostering cooperation and coordination on the part of the two sisterly counties at a time when a number of countries in the region are becoming victims of external interference and the negative impact resulting from such a scenario.
The Yemeni official further explained that Saleh and Afewerki share similar views on the issue.
Al-Qirbi asserted his country's desire to foster cooperation with Eritrea in the economic, cultural, scientific and security domains.
He further stated that the mechanism for the implementation of the previously concluded agreements between the two countries would be discussed when both presidents hold a meeting.
