Eritreans dominated stage six of Tour De Rwanda: Teklit Tesfai takes Yellow
Jersey
All six Eritrean cyclists finished on the top ten in today's stage six of Tour
De Rwanda.
Team captain, Frekalsi Debesai finished second in the race following South
African Jasson Bakke. Teklit Tesfai finished third and declares the leader for
the tour by taking the yellow Jersey with a clear 45 seconds lead over Rwandan
Adrien Niyonshuti. Daniel Teklehaimanot was 5th, Dawit Haile (Kancha) 7th,
Natnael Berhane 8th and Meron Russom 10th.
This is the first time in this tour that all Eritrean cyclists scored in the top
ten. Now Eritrean cyclists are working hard to win all of the classifications of
the tour. With the yellow in an Eritrean hands, the African Champions are in a
better position to win the tour at individual and team levels.
Congratualtions to the team and all Eritreans with friends,
EAAA
