All the videos are recorded by just 1 person - Salman Khan, a Harvard/MIT
graduate. He started making them to help his cousin with her school work. He got
such a positive response from her friends, he went on to make 1500 5 minute
videos from very basic simple math to very advanced topics, step by step.
A lot of students and even adults all over the world are viewing these videos at
no charge whatsoever and learning topics that may have escaped them during their
student days.
This gentleman's goal is to always keep this education free, he feels everyone
should be able to access a world class A grade education at no cost. Please
