Eritrean Cycling Team wins Tour of Algers
Eritrean Cycling Team which has been pariticipating in the Algerian Cycling Tour
since June 27 has impressed the continent once again by finishing stong to frist
place.
The tour was blessed on its first day by Natnael's first place victory, Frekalsi
Debesai 12th, Dawit Haile 19th, Meron Russom 28th and Daniel Teklehaimanot 32nd.
On the Second day of the tour, Natnael Berhane and Frekalsi Debesai finished 5th
and 6th respectively.
Daniel Teklehaimnot marked the end of the tour by out performing the cyclists by
four minutes, thereby Eritrea won the team classification. The team winners of
the tour were as follows.
1.Eritrea
2.Moroco
3. Algeria
4.France
5.Netherlands
On Individual time classification, The following were on the podium
1. Azzeddine Laagab From Algeria
2. Jelloul Adil from Moroco
3. Natnael Berhane from Eritrea
