ERITREANS IN CHARLOTTE,NORTH CAROLINA CELEBRATED THE 51st ANNIVERSARY OF
ERITREANS ARMED STRUGGLE FOR INDEPENDENCE
A successful Eritrean festival & barbecue day was held in the city of
Charlotte, north Carolina on September 8,2012.This September 2012 marks the
51st anniversary of the Eritrea's armed struggle.In recognition of this
significant event, the Eritrean youth of Charlotte organized a mini
festival & barbecue day to celebrate the occasion.The celebration was held
at reedy creek park for an afternoon of traditional music & barbecue served
hot off the grill.What a joyful afternoon it was.And thank you to all those
who participated.It was a day of cultural feast that every one of us
greatly enjoyed being part of.
