The 1st Southern Region Eritrean Soccer Tournament has been
successfully completed on Saturday, November 24, 2012, in New Orleans,
Louisiana. Houston adult and Atlanta youth teams has been crowned
champions for the 2012 tournament. Noel Yohannes (youth) and Daniel
Ogbaghebriel (adults) have been recognized as MVPs for their
respective age groups. Ashenafi Moshe (best goalie) and Naod Ghebre
(best hopeful future player) have also been recognized at the award
ceremony. The Houston team will host the Southern Region tournament
next year.
