President Al-Bashir Lauds Eritrean President Support to Peace in Sudan
Khartoum, Nov. 13 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer
Al-Bashir, has appreciated the efforts of the Eritrean President, Assais
Afwerki, in boosting the peace process and the stability in Sudan.
During his meeting Thursday at the premises of the Council of Ministers
with the visiting Eritrean President, Assais Afwerki, President
Al-Bashir praised progress of the distinguished relations between
Khartoum and Asmara, the concern of the Eritrean President with Sudan
affairs and his role for normalization of the relations between Sudan
and Chad.
The Eritrean President affirmed his country's support to the peace
process in Darfur as well as his keenness to boost the relations between
Khartoum and Asmara in all fields for the interest of the two sister
