Tanzania through to semis

Yanga striker Mrisho Ngasa scored a hat-trick as Tanzania trounced
Eritrea 4-0 to qualify for the semi finals of this year's CECAFA Senior
Challenge cup tournament.
The 3rd quarter final match played at the Nyayo national stadium ended
in a nil -nil stale mate at half time.
In the second half Mrisho Ngasa opened the scoring before John Boko
added the second goal for a 2-0 lead. Ngasa then slotted in two more
goals to seal Eritrea's fate
Meanwhile the inaugural excellence performance award ceremony for the
Kenyan Premier League KPL players, match officials, coaches and sports
Journalists will be held on Wednesday at the Panari Hotel in Nairobi.
Fifteen individual awards for the best fair play, best player of the
season, best goalkeeper, best defender, best midfielder, new player, top
scorer, best referee and assistant referee, best coach, best
photographer, best team manager and best journalist -print, radio and TV
will be presented during this auspicious occasion.
A prize pool of 3.2 million shillings has been set aside for the winners
who will also receive trophies. Each of the categories will have between
3 and 5 nominees.
