WOYANE RENAMED (DEVIL)

I would like to ask everyone to stop using the word "Woyane", if possible. This puts a human face in front of the devil. Not doing so can subconsciously affect us in that we may unrealistically continue to hope for peace when peace can never be offered by the devil. We need to make sure we are focused on our objectives of defending our country, our families, and our government - our people.

WOYANE = DEVIL

Ones we qualify it as the devil, we will then stop from ever hoping a peaceful resolution of our conflicts with it. The devil is craving for the contrary of peace. It is yearning for blood. It is hankering for mass destruction. It is the “mother of all devils”. Wishing for peaceful resolution has not worked and may have caused some complacency on our part.

Two weeks ago, I wrote the better part of these series of articles. My intent was to SPOOK all Eritreans and get us going to the business of proactively defending our country from the devil. For some odd reason, I was going to paint a hypothetical scenario of the devil's invasion of our country in a manner that I thought had some chance of happening due to the wave of people they like to send. I was going to layout a logic why the devil would not agree to a peaceful end of the conflict. Then, I was going to proceed by assuming that Eritrea was occupied by the enemy and ask everyone around the world to rise in defense of our country. Well, as co-incidence has it only two weeks later, we find our enemy sitting in our kitchen. And true to Eritreans, everyone has been mobilized.

Eritreans are the targets of the devil today. In order to defend ourselves we need to be further mobilized like no one has ever seen before.

The fact is that the devil has proven itself many times over that it has the will to destroy. All the postures that have been displayed by the devil have been one of accelerating the conflict. We should have given up on peace when it first started messing with our people and families that were deported from Ethiopia. The devil has split families and friends. Many relationships have been destroyed as a result of the actions it has taken. Eritrean and Ethiopian spouses have been split. The devil has burned several bridges between the people of both nations in a manner that is hard to get back on track. It is hard to fathom what has happened.

After having deported people in an inhuman manner, it bombed shelters and killed the same people it deported. After confiscating our properties, it attempted to level a lawsuit against our government for holding its properties at the Port of Assab. If there was any property at the port, I have never heard our government saying that it would not release. This should be an issue to be settled through a third party as part of the settlement of the entire issue, not leaving any hair uncombed. However, this devil tried to torpedo the peace process, the demarcation effort, and settlement of the conflict by legal means. The devil behaves as if it is above everything on this planet and it finds it too humiliating to participate in normal arbitration and judicial processes. It has entirely rejected the use of civilized tools to resolving conflicts and instead has sourced hundreds of millions of dollars and tens of thousands of innocent people into the crematorium.

Let us step-back for a few minutes and ask the following question: what has the devil done to give us the slightest hope for a peaceful resolution? The resounding answer would be - NONE! A neighbor that killed your dog will not go ahead and kidnap your son and break your spouse's leg unless he is also getting ready to burn your house. It is as simple as that.

TODAY, THE DEVIL IS IN OUR KITCHEN. THE WRITING ON THE WALL READS "MAYHEM"! There is no other way to describe the situation.

There will be no peaceful end to this conflict with the devil. We should work hard by assuming that it is actually occupying Asmara. Let us ask ourselves what we would have done from today forward if the devil were in fact in Asmara? Ones we feel that way, we will get even more aggressive with our push to ensure we get this enemy of mankind out of our country and away from our people. In this process, I would like for everyone around the world to think entirely out of the box and identify all possible scenarios, including the worst cases imaginable. Let us cover all grounds. By putting some ideas out here, I don’t want to get the devil a hint. Let us never assume the devil will spare a single Eritrean. It’s now or never.
