TPLF's "OUR WAY OR NO PEACE"

It is known that the minority government of Ethiopia was not sincere to solve the border conflict from day one. Even the ADI MRUG conflict. Eritrean sincerity and far sighted peaceful and civilized solution as occurred during the Ethiopian aggression, occupation and dismantling of public administration around the border made the TPLF regime feel that Eritrea is weak to defend itself. Here are some points wrongly viewed and ill calculated by the TPLF regime:

  1. After independence Eritrea down sized its military personnel by over 50%. Economically and socially it was an excellent step for growth and prosperity. The fighters were demobilised to establish their civilian life fully integrated with their people. [Miscalculation 1:]

  2. Corruption free, disciplined and efficient government or administration does not or may not invite corrupted business. However, whether lack of ability or know of how's had triggered some dismay or dissatisfaction among few Eritreans, specially investors. Some of them, unfortunately, had transferred their idea and capital to Ethiopia. All of us know what the consequence is. I hope they will regain their investment capitals and assets. However, this had invited the TPLF to come to [Miscalculation 2:]

  3. The SAWA JAGUARS [Jontra], the newly trained military personnel were fully underestimated. Provided it is an Eritrean blood.[Miscalculation 3:]

  4. Eritrean governments' open criticism of the world community for its behavior against the 30 years struggle for independence [Miscalculation 4:]

  5. Of course the so called Eritrean oppositions in Diaspora and their ill-calculated ambition was another point to add. [Miscalculation 5:]

These being among the miscalculations they had in their list, it was their dream to bring down the Eritrean government and replace it by a puppet Weyane satellite government to clear the way for their reoccupation of Eritrea.

Going back in history, the so called "harmony of the EPLF and the TPLF," I do not think there was any harmony between the EPLF and TPLF. During Eritrea's struggle for independence, the Weyanes, as opposed to EPLF's level-headed thinking, always had their odd ways of thinking. It is well remembered that the EPLF's strategic invitation of the Weyane's around 1988 was "Pending all of our political and strategic differences, it is vital to work militarily together to shorten the life of the Marxist Military junta government of Mengistu." That was the time when Weyane "temporarily" took the right path. Thanks to Eritrea's brave fighters, the TPLF gained power in Ethiopia and got a chance to hide its real color. Their dream of greater Tigray was always there and never wanted to abandon it. Now, sitting in Addis, the Weyanes not only have they uncovered their nakedness to show their true color of "Greater Tigray dream", but they have also inherited the dream of their predecessors: Haile Selasie and Mengistu to conquer Eritrea so as to make it part and parcel of Ethiopia. These definitely will lead them to the same ending.

Once the Weyane figured out that they are failures any way, they are trying to resist by any means, regardless the cost of human life. Above all, they are sitting in their palaces in Addis and how would they feel the suffering of their poor people? To the dismay of the people of Eritrea and Ethiopia, as well as the world community at large, the Weyanes are out of their mind. They do NOT even think what they are asking mediators to mediate, but "ONLY THEIR WAY." According to them, their way is the only way to peace. However, there will be only one way. Whether they like it or not, peace will be achieved the Eritrean, usual and world community way. As a result the only way left for them is to be HISTORY.
