My short Comment on “The Return of the Military Draft”

Certain powers or a lot of countries in this wprld had National service in their defense strategy and many still do. Military conscription is legal in every nation due to the countries law. If someone dodges this law, it is severely punishable.
But, if Eritrea train its Citizens militarily to defend its territory, they call it “illegal” and accepted the Eritreans who would claim escaping or dodging the Military draft illegally.
In World War II (1939-1945), the Europeans/Ex-USSR in particular and the world in general were devastated and destroyed. But, these devastated countries mobilized men, women and their youths to rebuild their war ruined nations. They had called it as “National Building”. As a result, they are now prosperous, stable and wealthy.
When Eritrea mobilizes its whole citizens to rebuild the 30 years’ long war of Independence devastated country, some powers in the west and their “Media main Stream” propagandist journalists call it shamefully as “Slavery”! What a pure hypocrisy and blackmailing!
But, we should not forget that some handful notorious Eritrean Individuals from abroad contributed to such term and call the “Eritrean Nation Rebuilding Campaign” literally as “Slavery”. Shame on them!
