Our guest today is a former member of the 74th Division which is a Mechanised department of the EPLF. Yemane Eskael takes us on harrowing journey of the brave actions of all EPLF fighters, who faced burning bullets defying visible and unescapable dangers with great acts of courage to cross the narrow bridge of Sigalet Qetan. Yemane was the lead gunner inside Tiger, one of the tanks which is standing tall in commemoration Operation Fenkil. Tiger was amongst the other tanks who managed to cross the bridge in the final assault on the enemy to completely liberate the port city of Massawa. Yemane give us a complete account going through all the details painting a complete picture of what they had to endure during Operation Fenkil.
