Khartoum, Feb. 24 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, has received a written message from the Eritrean President, Isaias Afwerki, dealing with the bilateral relations and means of strengthening them in al domains.
This came when he received Wednesday in his office the Eritrean Foreign Minister, Osman Salih, and the Eritrean President’s Advisor, Yemani Gibrab.
The Eritrean delegation conveyed the greetings of President Isaias Afwerki to the President of the Sovereignty Council and his wishes to him and Sudan for progress, prosperity, growth and stability.
The meeting affirmed the importance of enhancing the bilateral relations and boosting the cooperation between the two countries.

This came when he received Wednesday in his office the Eritrean Foreign Minister, Osman Salih, and the Eritrean President’s Advisor, Yamani Gibrab, in the presence of the Cabinet Affairs Minister, Khalid Omer Yousif, and the Ambassador of Eritrea to Sudan.
In his message, the Eritrean President affirmed the importance of consolidating the relations between the two countries and expressed his concern about the situation at the Sudanese – Ethiopian borders, affirming his country's understanding of Sudan position on its right to extend its sovereignty over its lands.
