Thanking you for the work you do, as we (in particular Eritreans in the Diaspora) rely on you in respect of information related to homeland Eritrea;

 

I would like to bring to your attention that Martyrs’ Day was commemorated in Toronto Canada with FAKE Eritrean Flags (pictures of which are also posted in your respective websites) under the titles;

 

 

Toronto, June 20th 2017 - Eritrean Community Members in the City of Toronto and Its Environs commemorated martyrs day with patriotic zeal.Eritrean Media;

This act flies in the face of the teaching of Genuine Eritrean Flag in the video titled “The correct Eritrean Flag and its meanings”. This video was posted on Eritrean website, including Dehai News; in which they were harshly criticized for misrepresenting Eritrea as “Notoriously fake flags” or “Fake flags” and strong message was sent to avoid them.

But what’s even more puzzling is that the impugned Flags were actually shipped from Eritrea to Canada. Fake Eritrean Flags made by Eritrea in Eritrea. This is self-inflicted wound albeit inadvertently.

As proud Eritrean in the Diaspora (Canada) I urge you to make efforts to STOP the production of Fake Eritrean Flags in Eritrea.
