Burkina Faso sprinter Abdoul Aziz Nikiéma won Thursday the 7th stage of the Tour du Faso between Banfora and Bobo-Dioulasso (120 km with circuit) in front of the Moroccan MRaouni Salaheddine and offers the first victory to Burkina Faso.Aziz Nikiéma has completed the milestone. 3h00mn46sec is an average of 39,830 km / h in front of the Moroccan. After winning the second hotspot in Peni, Aziz Nikiema had already shown his ambitions for victory even if his Moroccan challenger had also removed the first intermediate sprint of Toussiana.
The yellow jersey has changed carrier and is now owned by the Eritrean Saymon Musie. The German Stauder who wore the yellow leader's jersey was relegated to 7th overall at the time. Musie had bonuses after outclassing Mathias Sorgho (Burkina Faso) in the 3rd and final intermediate sprint at the 2nd pass of the circuit in Bobo-Dioulasso.
Stauder nevertheless remains overall leader in points (153) ahead of Morocco's MRaouni Salaheddine (136).
