Horndiplomat-The Djibouti government responded to the concerns of the political analysts that the dynamic transformation in the Horn of Africa would be Isolated in Djibouti.

The Djibouti Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Yusuf posted on his twitter said countries in the Horn of Africa region known for its stability, tranquillity and commitment to peace.

“One of the few countries in the Horn of Africa region known for its stability, tranquillity and commitment to peace, our own, can only welcome and rejoice at the fact that our region, finally, is coming out of this situation of neither war nor peace.”Said Minister Yusuf

The associate director of the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center Kelsey Lilley said on her recent report, For decades, Djibouti was the undisputed winner of Ethiopian-Eritrean hostility and the latter’s international isolation.

Meanwhile, Djibouti’s foreign minister Mohamoud Ali Yusuf contradicts the analyst view on Isolation. “For those who predict an isolation from Djibouti in this evolution, I say to them serenely, peace is above all for the benefit of the countries that have carried it out of arms all these years.”

Minister Yusuf also added

“Djibouti remains a country open to peace without compromise on the Nation’s higher interests.”
