Ethiopia Reopens Embassy In Asmara

Ethiopian leader, Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed and Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki jointly raised the Ethiopian flag inside the embassy.

Addis Ababa, September 6, 2018 (FBC) – Ethiopia has official reopened its embassy in Asmara, Eritrea today.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed and Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki jointly raised the Ethiopian flag inside the embassy.

Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed and President Isaias Afwerki cut a ribbon to mark the official opening of Ethiopian embassy in Asmara

The opening ceremony was attended by Eritrean officials and the diplomatic community in Asmara.
Ethiopia appointed Redwan Hussein as its ambassador to Eritrea.

Eritrea reopened its Embassy in Addis Ababa last July.

Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed and Eritrea’s President Isaias Afwerki re-opened the embassy in a brief ceremony.
