JEDDAH: Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on Saturday.
Ahmed was received by Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, Minister of State for African Countries’ Affairs Ahmed Qattan and other senior, civil and military, officials.
He was also received by the Saudi Ambassador to Ethiopia Abdullah Al-Arjani and Jeddah-based Representative of the Royal Protocol in Makkah Region.
Saudi Arabia’s King Salman will host a summit between Ethiopia and Eritrea in Jeddah on Sunday to sign a peace agreement ending, officially over 20 years of war.
