The Government of Ethiopia and the ONLF discussed modalities of peace talks in Asmara today. Government Delegation was led by Minister of Communications and Chairman of the Democratic Party of the Somali People, Ahmed Shide,while ONLF side was led by its Chairman, Admiral Mohamed Omar
"The Parties have reached a common understanding on the issues discussed and the way forward... Substantive talks will be finalized soon"; a Joint, Government of Ethiopia - ONLF, Statement issued after the meeting underlined.
