The riders were allowed to prepare today for a 121.1 kilometer long stage. The start was in Musanze, the finish in Nyamata. For the second day in a row, a leading group remained ahead. And that's good, because with 25 kilometers to go, the lead of the nine escapees was only one and a half minutes.
Yet Kasperkiewicz and co managed to stay out of the clutch of the peloton. In the end it was the Pool of Delko-Marseille Provence who managed to race to victory. For the 25-year-old rider it is his first victory in almost two years. In 2017 he won stages in the An Post Rás and Le Tour de Bretagne.
