ዝኸበርኩምን ዝኸበርክንን ኤርትራውያን
እቲ ዘይሕጋዊ እገዳን (sanction) እቲ ተግባር መራሕቲ ኢትዮጵያን ፣ ማለት ነቲ ኣብ ኣልጀርስ ዝተገበረ ውዕል ተቐቢሎም ኢትዮጵያ ካብ መሬት ኤርትራ ከምትወጽእ ዘይምግባሮምን፣ ኣብ ኤርትራ ዓቢ ጸገም ከምዝፈጠረን ፣ ሕዝብና ብቐጻሊ ንኽሳቐ ምኽንያት ከምዝኾነን ቡሩህ’ ዩ።
እዚ ኣብዚ ታሕቲ ዘሎ መራኸቢ ብምጽቃጥ ክረኤ ዝኽእል ፐትሽን (Petition) ፣ ናይ ሕዝብና ስቓይ ደው ንኽብል’ ዩ ዕላምኡ።እዚ ማለት እቲ ፐትሽን (Petition) እቲ ዘይሕጋዊ እገዳ (Sanction) ንኽለዓልን ኢትዮጵያ ካብ መሬት ኤርትራ ንኽትወጽእን ዝብል ኣቕዋም’ዩ ዘለዎ።
ስለዝኾነ እዞም ኣብ ወጻኢ ንነብር ኤርትራውያን፣ ነቲ ብሰንኪ’ቶም ዝተጠቐሱ ምኽንያታት ፣ አብ ሕዝብና ዝወርድ ዘሎ ቀጻሊ ዓመጽን ስቓይን ደው ንኽብል፣ ናይ ሓባር ድምጽና ካብ ነስመዓሎም መድረኻት ሐደ ፣እዚ ፐትሽን ኢዩ’ ሞ ፣ ቡዙሓት ኤርትራውያን (ከምኡ’ ውን ፈተውቲ ኤርትራውያን) ክፍርምዎ ጻዕሪ ንግበር።
ከም ኩሉ ካልእ ፐትሽን (Petitions) ፣ ሓይሊ (ማለት ጽልዋ ናይ ምግባር ሓይሊ) ናይዚ ፐትሽን ፣አብ ብዝሒ ናይቶም ዝፈረምዎ ኤርትራውያን’ ዩ ዝርከብ። ስለዝኾነ ነቲ ብዝሒ ናይቶም ኣብ ወጻኢ ንነብር ኤርትራውያን ኣብ ግምት ብምእታው፣ እዚ ፐትሽን ቡዙሓት ኤርትራውያን ክፍርምዎ ጻዕሪ ክትገብሩ ብትሕትና ትሕተቱ’ለኹም ።
(ክንደይ ዝኾኑ ከምዝፈረሙ አብቲ ፐትሽን ምርአይ ይከአል’ ዩ)
ዋላ ደቂ 12 ዓመትን ካብኡ ንላዕሊ ዝዕድሚኦምን (ብምርዳእ) ኣብ ነናቶም ኢመይል (email address) ክፍርምዎ ይኽእሉ’ ዮም።
ከምኡ’ ውን ነቶም ነዚ ፐትሽን ብምፍራም ተኻፋልነቶም ከረጋግጹ ዝደልዩ፣ እንተኾነ ግን ዓቕሚ ዘይብሎም ፣ ወይ
ምልከት (Familiarity) ናይ ኤሌክትሮኒክ መራኸቢ (Electronic mail) ዘይብሎም ኣብ ወጻኢ ዝነብሩ ኤርትራውያን ንተሓጋገዝዞም።

ምናልባት ንምዝኽኻር ዝኣክል፣ ኣብ ዝሐለፈ ጊዜ ዕላምኡ ዝተፈላለየ ብዙሕ ፐትሽን (Petitions) ተፈሪሙ ኔሩ’ ዩ፣ እንተኾነ እዚ ናይ ሕጂ ፐትሽን ካብ’ ቲ ዝሐለፈ ፐትሽን ዕላምኡ ዝተፈየ ስለዝኾነን (ነቲ ዝሐለፈ ፐትሽን ስለ ዘይውክልን) ተፈልዩ ክፍረም ብጣዕሚ ኣገዳሲ’ ዮ።
ብተወሳኺ ፣ ምናልባት ሐደ- ሐደ አብ ወጻኢ ዝነብሩ ኤርትራውያን “ዋላ እንተፈረምና’ ውን ዘምጸኦ ለውጢ የለን” ብምባል ይተዓናቐፉ ይኾኑ። ብኸምዝን ብኻልእ ተመሳሳሊ ምኽንያትን ፣ ፐትሽን (Petition) ካብ ምፍራም ድሕር ምባል፣ ነቶም ብመጀመርትኡ ዘይሕጋዊ እገዳ ብምእዋጅ ሕዝቢ ኤርትራ ንኽሳቐ ምኽንያት ዝኾኑ ጥራይ’ ዩ ረብሕኡ።
ምኽንያቱ እዚ ፐትሽን ብሓፈሽኡ ነቶም አብ ወጻኢ ንነብር ኤርትራውያን ነዚ ዝስዕብ ጻዊዒት’ ዩ አቕሪቡ፤
“ብሰንኪ’ ቲ ዘይሕጋዊ እገዳን ፣ ናይ ኢትዮጵያ እምቢታን ፣ኣብ ሕዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝወርድ ዘሎ ቀጻሊ ዓመጽን ስቓይን ደው ክብል ፣ድልየትኩም ዝኾነ ኩላትኩም ነዚ ፐትሽን ፈርምዎ።”
ስለዚ ነዚ ፐትሽን ምፍራም ማለት “እወ፣ ኣብ ሕዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝወርድ ዘሎ ቀጻሊ ዓመጽን ስቓይን ደው ክብል’ዩ ድልየተይ” ዝብል አወንታዊ መልሲ ክኸውን እንከሎ፤
ብአንጻሩ ሐደ-ሐደ አብ ወጻኢ ዝነብሩ ኤርትራውያን፣ ፐትሽን ብዘይምፍራም ፣ ንዕላማ ናይዚ ፐትሽን አሉታዊ (ወይ እምቢታዊ) መልሲ ብምሃብ፣ ብዘይፍላጥ ወይ ብዘይምርዳእ፣ጉጉይን ጎዳእን ዝኾነ መልእኽቲ ይሰዱ’ለው።
ነዚ ፐትሽን (Petition) ዝምልከት ዕላማ ናይ ኤርትራውያን፣አብ ሓቒ ዝተመስረተ’ ዩ።
ካብ’ ቲ ሓቅታት ሓደ ኸአ ፣ እቲ ቤት ምኽሪ ጸጥታ ሕቡራት ሃገራት ዝአመነሉ፣ አብዚ ታሕቲ ተጠቒሱ ዘሎ’ ዩ፤
“Taking note that during the course of its current and two previous mandates the SEMG has not found any evidence that the Government of Eritrea is supporting Al-Shabaab”
(“ብተደጋጋሚ አብ ዝተገበረ መጽናዕቲ፣ ኤርትራ ንአል-ሻባብ ከምትሕግዝ ዝገልጽ ዝኾነ ይኹን መረጋገጺ ክርከብ አይከአለን ” ክብል እቲ ቤት ምኽሪ ጸጥታ ሕቡራት ሃገራት አብቲ ዘውጽኦ ጽሑፍ አስፊርዎ።)
እቲ ቤት ምኽሪ ጸጥታ ሕቡራት ሃገራት ፣ ነቲ ናይ ኤርትራ ጉዳይ ፣ አብ ዕለት 30 April 2017 (30 ሚያዝያ 2017) ደጊሙ ክሪኦ ከምዝኾነ አብ ግምት ምእታው ከአ፣ ነዚ ፐትሽን እዋናዊ ይገብሮ ።
እቶም ብስቓይ ናይ ኤርትራውያን ዘይጸገቡ ፣ ነቲ ዘይሕጋዊ እገዳ ብምንዋሕ ስቓይ ናይ ኤርትራውያን ንኽናዋሕ ሸበድበድ አብ ዝብልሉ አብዚ ሕጂ እዋን፣ እዞም ኣብ ወጻኢ ንነብር ኤርትራውያን፣ አብ ሓቂ ብምምርኳስ ፣ ብናይ ሓባር ድምጽና ክንቃወሞን እቲ ዘይሕጋዊ እገዳ ክሳብ ዝለዓል ከአ ብቐጻሊ ክንቃለሶን ግድን’ ዩ። “ ንሳቶም ”ሐደ ስጉምቲ ብመንገዲ ዓመጽ ክስጉሙ’ ንከለው፤ ኤርትራውያን ክልተ ስጉምቲ ብመንገዲ ሓቂ ብምስጓም፣ እቲ ዘይሕጋዊ እገዳ ንኽለዓል አብ ዝገብርዎ ቃልሲ፣ ዓወት ኤርትራውያን ግድን’ ዩ። ኣብ ወጻኢ ንነብር ኤርትራውያን ከአ ናይዚ ቃልሲዚ ተኻፈልቲ ሙኻንና ፣ ንኾርዓሉ መሰልናን ሓላፍነትናን ከምዝኾነ፣ ብቐጻሊ ብተግባር ነረጋግጾ።
ሓቂ ዋናአ እንተዘይተቓሊሱላ፣ ዓማጻይ ንውልቃዊ ረብሕኡ’ሉ ብዘይግቡእ ይጥቀመላ።ነቲ ዘይሕጋዊ እገዳ ንምንዋሕ ሸበድበድ አብ ዝብልሉ ግዜ፣ እዞም ኣብ ወጻኢ ንነብር ኤርትራውያን፣ ስቕ እንድሕር ኢልና፣ ብተዘዋዋሪ ፣ እቲ ዘይሕጋዊ እገዳ አብ ሕዝብና ዘስዓቦ ስቓይ ንኽቕጽል “ንሳማማዕ ወይ ንደሊ’ ና” ፣ ዝብል ጉጉይን ጎዳእን ዝኾነ መልእኽቲ ብዘይፍላጥ ወይ ብዘይምርዳእ፣ንሰድድ አለና ማለት’ዩ ።
ነዚ ጉጉይን ጎዳእን ዝኾነ መልእኽቲ ካብ ንምክተሎም ውጽኢታዊ (effective) ዝኾኑ መንገድታት ሓደ ኸአ ፐትሽን ምፍራም’ ዩ።ስለዝኾነ እዚ ፐትሽን በዞም ኣብ ወጻኢ ንነብር ኤርትራውያን ክፍረም አዝዩ አገዳሲ’ ዩ’ ሞ፤ ብኤርትራውያን አባላት ናይ ስድራን፣አዕሩኽትን፣ደቂ- ስራሕን፣ ደቂ-ማሕበርን ወዘተ. ከምዝፍረም ንምግባር ተጊህና ጻዕሪ ንግበር።
አብ ርእሲ’ዚ ፐትሽን፣ ድምጺ ናይ ሕዝቢ ከምኻኑ መጠን፤ ብ1000 ክፍረም እንከሎን፣ብ10,000 ክፍረም እንከሎን፣ ብ100, 000 ክፍረም እንከሎን ወዘተ. ማዕረ ኽንድኡ ጸብለልታ ብምግባር ለውጢ ናይ ምምጻእ ሓይሉ ኸአ ይዓቢ።
ኣብዚ ዝስዕብ ናይ መራኸቢ መንገዲ ብምጽቃጥ ነቲ ፐትሽን ምርካብ ይከኣል፣
ወይከኣ ነዚ ኣብ ታሕቲ ዘሎ ብምጽቃጥ፣ ወይ ነቲ ኣርእስቲ ከምዘለዎ ኣብ “Google” ብምጽሐፍ ነቲፐትሽን ምርካብ ይከኣል፣

ኣብቲ ፐትሽን ናይ ገዛእ ርእስኻ ርእይቶ ምጽሐፍ’ ውን ኣገዳሲ’ ዮ። እዚ ኸኣ ኣብ’ ቲ “Add a personal message (optional)” ዝብል ሳጽን ምጽሐፍ ይከኣል።

Dear fellow Eritreans
It’s public secret that our people, the Eritreans have been and continued to be under tremendous suffering attributed in particular to the unjust sanctions imposed on Eritrea combined with the refusal by Ethiopia’s leadership till date to comply with the Algiers “Final and Binding Agreement” and vacate Eritrea’s territories.
The Petition below is for the purpose of seeking cessation of the suffering of our people from both factors; by lifting the unjust sanctions and by putting pressure on Ethiopia to abide by “the Agreement”.
It’s incumbent on ALL caring and proudly patriotic Eritreans in dispora to sign the Petition thereby send our collective strong message that we are against the unjust sanctions and, Ethiopia’s refusal to abide by the said “Agreement”; resulting in the increased suffering of our people.
As we all know Petitions are influential if they are signed by significant number of people. Hence considering the number of Eritrean population in the diaspora, it’s imperative the Petition be signed by significant number of Eritreans in diaspora. To achieve this goal you are hereby kindly requested to sign the Petition and have it signed by as many Eritreans (and the friends of Eritrea) as possible.
Eritrean teenagers, as young as 12, can also sign it in their respective email addresses, as long as they understand the purpose of the Petition. And let us do everything we can to assist those who are willing to sign it; but unable to do so for many reasons, such as lack of familiarity with Electronic mail etc.
As we all know, signing the Petition means, completing the form including by providing respective email address and submitting it. The Petition also provides current number of people who signed it.
Please note any Petitions signed in the past by Eritrean in diaspora are NOT representative of this current Petition (i.e. this Petition is NOT related to any past Petitions). Thus it’s important to sign it separately.
And further, some Eritreans in diaspora may get frustrated and lose faith in the importance of signing Petition thereby reluctantly withdraw from signing Petition. Doing so can only help those who subjected our people to suffering in the first place, by imposing unlawful sanctions and by turning blind eye to Ethiopia’s refusal to comply with the Algiers “final and binding Agreement”.
This is so by virtue of the fact that in general the Petition is asking the following;
“If you want cessation of the suffering of Eritrean people attributed to the unlawful sanctions and Ethiopia’s refusal to abide by the Algiers final and binding Agreement, sign the Petition”
Hence while signing the Petition means responding in the affirmative (or saying YES I want the suffering of Eritrean people in that regard to stop);
Conversely remaining silent or not signing it sends, albeit unintended, wrong and detrimental message as if to say “NO I don’t want the suffering of Eritrean people to stop”
It’s worth mentioning that the purpose of the Petition is based on undeniable truth. This includes the Algiers Final and Binding Agreement clearly stating that the then disputed territories belongs to Eritrea; yet years later Ethiopia is still occupying same territories of Eritrea.
And in respect of the unlawful sanctions that was based on, in particular, unfounded allegations of Eritrea’s support to the Somalia’s Al-Shabaab; the Monitoring Group designated to verify the allegations, repeatedly reported that there is NO EVIDENCE of Eritrea’s support to Al-Shabaab. Furthermore the United Nations Security Council (“UNSC”) in its own latest report (of Nov. 2016) effectively refuted the allegations as partially quoted hereunder;
“Taking note that during the course of its current and two previous mandates the SEMG has not found any evidence that the Government of Eritrea is supporting Al-Shabaab”
Despite that the UNSC extended the unlawful sanctions and is scheduled to review the case this April 2017.
We Eritreans in diaspora cannot afford to remain silent in the face of increased suffering of our people in that regard. To remain silent, including by not signing Petition is similar to saying (obliviously by omission), “I want the sanctions to continue, I don’t want Ethiopia to comply with the Algiers Agreement and, I want the suffering of Eritrean people to continue.”
The only way to avoid such wrong and detrimental message is to speak up. And Petition is one of the effective ways to do it. It’s something we can do by signing it in the comfort of our homes or libraries or work place or community centre etc.
It’s imperative we send our collective voice that the suffering of one Eritrean (by reasons as described) is the suffering of ALL Eritreans. (No reasonable person can enjoy the suffering of our people; unless one is benefiting at the expense of Eritrean people).
Promote this Petition; spread the word, make your family members, friends, coworkers etc. sign it.
It makes a difference when a Petition is signed by 1000 and when it’s signed by 10000 and when it’s signed by 100,000 etc. The more the people sign the more influential it becomes.
Campaign if you must, make phone calls, text, email etc. to make sure the Petition gets the attention it deserves from Eritreans in diaspora. Do so with Eritrean pride. And pat yourselves on the back for standing up for our people.
Let us not get frustrated, distracted or discouraged by the adversaries.
The evidence and the truth associated with it are on the side of Eritrean people; and the truth ought to prevail.
