The American foreign direct investment in Singapore in 2020 was 315 Billion dollars. It is more than the United States's foreign direct investment in China, India and South Korea combined. And United States's foreign direct investment in Africa in 2020 was only 47.5 billion U.S. dollars. The question is why is United States's foreign direct investment in Africa, which has a population of over one billion people, so minuscule ???]
