Elias Amare, Eritrean activist and journalist/researcher, gave a presentation at a panel during the Eritrean Festival in Oakland, CA, on 11 August 2012, titled "21 Years and Counting: Eritrea's Independent Path Towards Sustainable Development, Peace & Cooperation".
