Monterrey.- The sixteenth edition of the Powerade Monterrey Marathon took place this Sunday morning with the participation of 7,500 runners.
In the women's competition, Guadalupe Oropeza shone by surprising everyone by setting a new record with a time of 02:30:05 in the 42 kilometer race, causing the public to stand up to applaud her feat.
In second place, the Mexican athlete Adela Honorato Domínguez stood out with a time of 02:33:59, while third place went to Fanny Oropeza, sister of the winner, Jaqueline Oropeza with 02:36:58.
