The meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela and Eritrea took place in New York, following the speech by Yván Gil at the 79th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).
The diplomats discussed issues of the multipolar world and strengthened ties of friendship and bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the peoples. Mentioning that the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry on April 7 commemorated 18 years of diplomatic relations, cooperation and friendship with Eritrea.
