Ethiopians are often detracted by TPLF’s elaborate ethnic Apartheid divide and seldom look at the depth and the sophistication of how TPLF’s dysfunctional elites’ premeditated racket in the name of Developmental State works. Beyond the obvious and visible racket of the infamous EFFORT set up in the name of endowment for the people of Tigray and coordinated by dozens of TPLF Mafia operatives situated in Mekele and Addis Ababa and around the world, Ethiopians know very little how far and deep TPLF plunder goes.
Nothing seems beyond reproach for TPLF Mafia stooges, especially those in the diaspora with dual citizenships—one for looting and another for laundering their spoils from the people of Ethiopia. In fact, the entire Make-believe EPDRF government apparatus and Media establishments are all controlled for the sole purpose of facilitating and legitimizing TPLF Mafia racket. It is as if a 19-century ethnic Mafia showed up in the 21st century dressed in modern clothing and waving ethnic Revolutionary Democracy to plunder a nation in a cover of Developmental State — resembling Colonialism 2.0.
Lately, you can’t help but notice barrages of propaganda spreading on TPLF Mafia stooges’ run Medias again– make-believe foreign investors flocking in the middle of a political crises under the longest State of Emergency. It appears, the usual snake oil salesmen are dispatched in full force to push; Developmental State is the last remaining hope left to help the rogue Apartheid regime to stick around along TPLF Mafia’s plunder of the people of Ethiopia – as the ethnic Revolutionary Democracy divide backed by Agazi assassins could no longer contain the grassroot movement to end the rogue regime’s rule.
It is abundantly clear for all Ethiopians by now; TPLF’s ethnic divide is practical dead as many Ethiopians fooled for so long figured out the premeditated hoax but, not buried yet. In fact, the new ethnic Amhara drum beat at home and in the diaspora in the last hour as የአማራና የትግሬ የህዝብ ለህዝብ ምክክር መድረክ ተካሄደ hoax on TPLF Mafia affiliated Medias and the self-appointed Voice of Amhara spin instigated in the last hour of ethnic Apartheid rule while TPLF Agazi death squad hunt down our people indiscriminately continued.
It seems TPLF Mafia stooges didn’t get the memo yet and continue to do what they know best and making a jackass out of themselves to keep the notoriously corrupt and atrocious Mafia regime while Ethiopians dialogue post Woyane united and democratic Ethiopia at home and around the world.
The recent interview by a stooge at Aiga Forum, a San Jose, California based TPLF Mafia mouthpiece with the TPLF’s Queen of Corruption Azeb Mesfin that came out of her hiding to legitimize EFFORT’s racket for Tigran audience illustrates; dysfunctional elites’ same old insult of Ethiopians in Tigray TPLF Mafia bosses used-and-abused for over four decades to disfranchise and pillage Ethiopians and Ethiopia in their name continue unabated.
It is amazing how little kickbacks from TPLF Mafia’s loots makes stooges like the Aiga boys behave like drunken sailors to bury their head in the sand when TPLF commit unspeakable atrocities and plunder in the name of Ethiopians in Tigray. Like I said before; ‘you can take the boys out of the jungle not the jungle out of them’ or as our people like to put it; ሌባ ለአመሉ ቅቤ ይልሳል — as we witness the stooges continue to conspire against the people of Ethiopia to save a Mafia regime.
Regardless, what was astonishingly hilarious about the Queen of Corruption’s statement the Aiga boys pivot was when she declared; the British Court cleared EFFORT from wrong doing of robbing Ethiopians by confessing; not only UK is backing TPLF Mafia’s racketeering in Ethiopia where its European operation is based as many suspects but, insulting Ethiopians in Tigray ignorant of telling the difference between courts in Ethiopia and UK — not to mention throwing the make-believe EPDRF’s kangaroo Federal Courts under the bus to legitimize TPLF racket for Tigranes through a foreign court. Keep in mind, the onetime barista turned multi-billionaire Queen of Corruption Azeb is not talking to Ethiopians as whole but Tigranes in the make-believe and ever-expanding ‘Tigray Region’ TPLF occupied as a headquarter of its global Mafia operations.
Not long ago, the godfather of TPLF Mafia Sebhat Nega was blubbering on another make-believe Media of his choice to justify EFFORT’s racket as a legitimate business in Amharic. for wider Ethiopian audience.
Unfortunately, all these years; TPLF Mafia dysfunctional elites like the boys at Aiga Forum refused to grow up yet from telling the difference between the rule of law and their jungle law design to defend the self-proclaimed Tigray mercenary turn Ethiopian Mafia. But again, can we blame them? After all, once they choose the mercenary-Mafia route for any reason; things got murky to go back or leave in one piece. Nor it is possible to go forward indefinitely as a Mafia stooges without committing more crimes.
Caught by ‘damned if we do damned if we don’t’, the stooges are stuck between a hard place and a rock short of abandoning the Mafia and paying the ultimate price that come with it. Even the sorry messenger boys TPLF assembled and dressed as EPRDF to loot and kill Ethiopians in their designated Apartheid Regions as a compensation for their loyalty and service are trapped — having tough time to decide what to do with their TPLF Mafia bosses and where to go without them.
It reminds me of the TV series ‘Police’ that narrates a song — ‘bad boys…bad boys what you gonna do…when they come for you’ as the alleged villains run in all direction for dear life.
Quite honestly; Ethiopian should feel sorry for the piacular position TPLF Mafia put its dysfunctional elites to force them stick around and remain in life of criminality with no much prospect of leaving in one piece. Granted, most did it by the intrigue TPLF’s propaganda played in their little mind until it is too late to do something about it. Unfortunately, ignorance is no defense for grownups unless they declare insanity or lack of mental capacity to know better.
Take the ignorance-defense of the Aiga boy that interview the Queen of Corruption Azeb Mesfin. When grownup that spent most of their adult life running a make-believe Media in the free world couldn’t tell UK courts have no judication over a Mafia racket masquerading as endowment based in Ethiopia robbing the people, insanity or lack of mental capacity are the only two defenses. Short of calling them boys in grown up bodies insane is the only other option.
The only advice Ethiopians can offer TPLF Mafia stooges like the Aiga boys is to grow up or if they insist to be adult to man up and reconcile with their criminality and make the best out of their temporary freedom while it lasts by telling the truth noting but the truth to free themselves from the bondage of a Mafia regardless of the cost.
But, noting is heartbreaking than to watch when non TPLF Mafia affiliated Media personalities bury their head in the sand to further confuse Ethiopians from coming together to end the Mafia rule; essentially doing the same thing as TPLF stooges. For lack of explanation of their behavior, the strategy appears ‘muddying the water’ enough for their own undeclared agenda other than the freedom and rights of the people of Ethiopia.
In that regard, the most hilarious of all video piece I came across recently was titled in English “top 5 Ethiopian billionaires with their source of income” from unidentified source narrated in Amharic and posted on Zehabesha website. The Video claims it sourced the information from Forbes Magazine, the popular American Business publication with no link provided. Imagine the prestigious Forbes Magazine wasting time to figure out billionaires in TPLF Mafia run nation under State of Emergency. Also, imagine ZeHabisha posting a video in Amharic language from undisclosed source and unidentified reporter and nonexistence Forbes article. That is not all, the video piece itself that claim the 5 top Ethiopian billionaires according to Forbes are presented as 5 millionaires in sectors only TPLF Mafia affiliates stooges engage robing Ethiopians.
It is not clear what message ZeHabisha trying to get across to Ethiopians in the middle of the State of Emergency by posting a fairytale billionaires’ video. In the first place, the make-believe video piece (if it is genuine) should have read ‘top 5 TPLF Mafia affiliated billionaires with their source of income’ to reflect the reality of what the Mafia Development State is all about. But again, who is monitoring those that push fairytales at the expenses of the people of Ethiopia on daily basis and make them accountable remains the million-dollar question?
One of the areas make-believe Medias of all kinds are engaged lately is reform of the Woyane regime in the middle of the State of Emergency in the hope of legitimizing the regime through the Mafia Developmental State. The video posted by ZeHabisha above is a good example of make-believe Medias that publicly claim to have no affiliation with TPLF but, believe; the Mafia Development State is good enough to produce legitimate billionaires. Imagine billionaires in Italian Mafia controlled territory operating freely to be rich and famous to attract Forbes’ attention? If you ask me, what ZeHabisha is doing is more like ‘የአይጥ ምስክር ድንቢጥ than to reflect the reality as a real Media supposed to do.
My repeated suggestion for make-believe Medias that claim not to be affiliated with the rogue TPLF Mafia regime to listen when told not to conflate the reality about a Mafia led ethnic Apartheid Revolutionary Democracy and Development State economy remain unsuccessful. Either they lack basic competency in journalism of truth telling or they have their own undeclared agenda to take the people of Ethiopia as suckers for their fairytale. Short of explanation, I think they are taking advantage of the suffering of our people under the brutal Mafia regime as an opportunity for their own sinister mission whatever it may be.
One of the oldest Media (EthioMedia) that once rightly declared ‘TPLF is a mercenary group that can’t be reformed and must be dismantled’ was on the right track to help bring about the rule of law and democracy to our people as it officially claimed until it started conflating facts with fairytale in favor of the rogue regime on the expenses of the people of Ethiopia. Apparently, the survival of the self-declared non-Ethiopian TPLF Mafia must be an opportunity to pivot the reality for its own undeclared agenda. Surprisingly, to see the relatively new ZeHabisha platform following EthioMedia’s footstep with multiple platform, particularly its Tenaadam YouTube channel to confuse Ethiopians with fairytale and undermining Ethiopian opposition in the Diaspora is depressing but not surprising.
When TPLF Mafia controlled Medias’ divide-distract-conflate propaganda wasn’t enough, to see the rest making it worst is tragedy if not conspiracy against our people. I have written multiple articles warning Medias that directly or indirectly conflate the truth often with fairytales, diversions, divisions, unprovoked character assassination… and call them up to shape up or ship out with not much success. By the way, the same is true with make-believe political parties and civic organizations.
One of the most brazen Media specializing in diversion of the gullible Ethiopians in the Diaspora and the international community is Tadias Magazine. Reading through the Magazine since its inception; one wouldn’t have a clue about the massive atrocities and corruption of TPLF Mafia led regime of Ethiopia that declared the longest State of Emergency in the world as if the Magazine operates in a vacuum.
Such deliberate squashing reality through diversion would disqualify any Media anywhere in the real world. But, when it comes to Ethiopians, double standard is norm not the exception; partly because the lack of institutions to make them accountable and, partly because the lack morality and professional ethics to self-govern themselves. But by no means we can accuse Media operators are incapable of understanding the rule of law, democratic governance and their professional ethics. The one-and-only thing they appear to lack is the moral clarity to know right-from-wrong when it comes to the millions of their fellow compatriots that suffer under a brutal and corrupt Mafia regime from the comfort of their hide out in the free world.
Quite frankly, contemporary dysfunctional elites in general have a peculiar way of expressing their love towards their fellow compatriots and country. Pivoting the reality of the obvious problem to their liking and pretending ignorance became the way of life for many. In all honesty, dysfunctional elites that affiliated with TPLF Mafia at least deserve credit for officially aligning with a Mafia that engage with unprecedented crimes of corruption and atrocities against the people of Ethiopia. What is not clear and with no explanation is why the rest failed to align with the people of Ethiopia by simply telling the reality of what TPLF tyranny is all about?
If we really think about it, the people of Ethiopia are trapped between dysfunctional elites aligned with TPLF Mafia for the wrong reason and the rest that are not yet sure to align for the right cause and it shows. There is no other explanation for their behavior why it took so long to figure out what the right cause worth aligning for.
When the Ethiopian National Movement declared to align with the people of Ethiopia last year by officially surrendering for the consent of the governed since Kinjit followed by Ginbot 7 all hell break loss again among all dysfunctional elites. Looking at the Media coverage on such important development can help sort out the dysfunctional elites that held Ethiopians hostage for centuries from the rest.
The Ethiopian National Movement drew a line on the sand for one-and-all; no matter what one does there would be no more legitimacy for anyone individual or organization including the Media without officially submitting for consent of the governed. Isn’t that the one-and-only foundation for freedom and democracy Ethiopians that eluded the political elites for so long?
In that context is where political parties, civic organizations or Medias as well as freelancers to nowhere must be evaluated not by empty propaganda and irrelevant credential that doesn’t hold water. Therefore, every political party and civic organization involved in the affair of Ethiopia better get used being scrutinized for not submitting to the consent of the governed and by what it does in practice not by what is says. Likewise, every Media not only has to submit like all but, must take its proper role of making every political, civic and economic organization transparent on behalf the people of Ethiopia.
So far, no political party or civic organization came forward to submit for consent of the governed beside members of ENM. Instead, what we witness is all kind of dysfunctional elites undermining the character of the leaders of ENM for doing the right thing. The question is why?
Understandably, TPLF Mafia affiliated dysfunctional elites do it precisely because they submitted for a Mafia tyranny and have no leg to stand on. But, why are the rest of do it? Does being against TPLF Mafia regime enough to qualify one to be for freedom and rights of the people of Ethiopia as we are led to believe?
Quite frankly, after what they put the people of Ethiopia through; TPLF Mafia affiliated dysfunctional elites should be grateful to be given another opportunity to abandon the Mafia regime and come clean while they can than to continue fleecing, killing and lying their way out of their preindictment. After all, every Ethiopian understand they are a product of over four decades of TPLF’s ethnic Apartheid propaganda that made them behave like a drunken sailor noting to show for but stolen concrete, division, distraction and atrocities on the expenses of our people.
But, what is puzzling is the rest of opposing dysfunctional elites’ refusal to submit to the consent of the people of Ethiopia than hairsplitting and harassing those that did.
In that note, every Ethiopian contemporary elite must learn fast to consent for the governed before he or she come out in public to lecture us or write endless article to tell us how bad TPLF Mafia is. After all, everybody knows; ‘there is no good Mafia but ‘a dead one’ to talk about it endlessly. Whether TPLF Mafia or one form or another small-or-big autocracy; it makes no difference to the people of Ethiopia. What matters is to stop contemporary dysfunctional elites’ criminality or foot dragging and from ending tyranny for good. After all, the struggle is about freeing the people of Ethiopia not accommodating dysfunctional elites’ self-serving behavior.
Finally, in case contemporary dysfunctional elites don’t yet comprehend what consent for the governed means on the expenses of the people of Ethiopia, they look no further than themselves. After all, they are the product of tyranny to see clear.
The famous 17-century Irish author and satirist Jonathan Swift wrote;
“For in reason, all government without the consent of the governed is the very definition of slavery”.
Ever since, many dysfunctional elites of the world saw the light to consent for the governed and live in democratic nations while others remained consenting for authoritarian regimes to live in undemocratic nations.
That is not the only sin of contemporary Ethiopian elites’ dysfunctional behavior that reside in democratic nation but, celebrating tyranny that enslave our people half way across the world. That my friends, is the very definition of dysfunctional behavior.
Are you a dysfunctional elite that consent for any form of tyranny to enslave our people? If not; what are you waiting for from ending the dysfunctional behaviors of your peers that enslaves our people?

“No man is good enough to govern another man without that other’s consent”.
Unfortunately, our contemporary dysfunctional elites refused to consent for the governed in 2017 for yet undisclosed reason and cause so much suffering to our people.
