Joss Stone & Elham Mohammed Concert in Asmara

Joss Stone - Total World Tour - kicked off in April 2014 with gigs already completed in Morocco, Dubai, South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Australia and New Zealand amongst others, and sees Joss embarking her most ambitious project to date – her aim is to play a concert in every country on the planet. In each country Joss aims to collaborate with local homegrown musicians, playing indigenous music as well as her own songs. In Eritrea Joss Stone collaborated a song with the young super young Eritrean artist Elham Mohammed at the famous performing arts, Cinema Asmara build in 1868-1920.  

Elham Mohammed - born in 1996 in Asmara - studying for BA degree in School of law in Eritrea. Beside her academic career, she is engaged in music,  been a member of a famous Eritrean children cultural group  WARI.  At this moment she is a member of Ra’i Band and starting to shine.

Accompany by  Boba Band, an ensemble of talented youth playing an assortment of Eritrean traditional instruments. These traditional instruments stood as an epitome of the Eritrean society’s tradition or cultural identity. Kerar, Wata, Beghena, Koboro, Shambuko instruments. Boba Band, is on the verge of acquainting it’s product to the rest of the world.
