President Isaias Receives Delegation Of Amhara State

Addis Ababa, September 14, 2018 (FBC) – President Isaias Afwerki today received representatives of Amhara regional state led by Speaker of the state’s council, Worksemu Mamo.
According to Yemane Gebremeskel, Eritrea’s Information Minister, the visit is prompted by the “desire to underscore admiration of the peace agreement and their goodwill for its consolidation.”
President Isaias thanked the representatives for their visit of goodwill, he said on Twitter.
He emphasized that initiative taken by the two leaders only “crystallized the wishes of the two peoples,”
