The cyclist Yacob Debesay was crowned this Saturday, February 9, winner of the Tour of Hope 2019, at the end of the fifth and last stage of 103 kilometers around Yaoundé, in Cameroon, won by the Rwandan Moïse Mugisha. At 19, Yacob Debesay wore the yellow jersey leader in the second stage, without ever letting go. He succeeds Rwandan Joseph Areruya, winner in 2018 of the first edition of this race reserved for riders under 23 years old.
