Khartoum , January 8, 2021 reached the first vice president of Sudan 's sovereignty Transitional Council Mohammed Hamdan Dgulw "Hmidta" Friday morning visit to Eritrea in a one-day, accompanied by Foreign Minister - designate and Director of the General Intelligence Service.

And Hemedti was seen off at Khartoum Airport, Ibrahim Jaber, a member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, and Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Ghali Ali Yusef, Secretary General of the Council.
The border file between Sudan and Ethiopia is expected to be present in the talks that Hemedti is expected to hold in Asmara with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki.
Hemedti wrote on his account in Fisk: "We left today for neighboring Eritrea, and the delegation included Foreign Minister Omar Qamar al-Din, Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant-General Jamal Abdul-Majid, and a number of state officials, as part of a visit to discuss relations between the two countries, cooperation, good neighborliness, and the situation in the region and the region.
The visit of the First Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council comes the day after the end of the visit of the Eritrean President's envoy and advisor Yamani Ghebreab and Foreign Minister Osman Saleh to Sudan.
The Eritrean delegation met in Khartoum, head of the Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, his deputy Hamidati, Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok and Minister of Foreign Affairs Omar Qamar al-Din.
