KUALA LUMPUR: Turkey continues to be the field for the Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG) to chase success with its rider Carlos Quintero from Colombia winning the Gundogmus Grand Prix (GP) yesterday.

The 35 -year -old finished the 103.5 -kilometer race for his second title after winning the Velo Alanya GP two weeks ago while teammate Metkel Eyob of Eritrea was second and Franklin Archibold of the "Panama es Cultura y Valores" team was third.

"I'm very happy and so is the team, we've always been together throughout the race. It's like not believing," he said in a video clip of his winning reaction from TSG.

day before Carlos' first victory, Malaysian sprinter Mohd Harrif Saleh won the Velo Manavgat GP, another 1.2 -status race in the International Cycling Union's (UCI) European Tour calendar.
Meanwhile in the Mediterrennean GP on Saturday, Mohd Harrif finished the race in fourth place while teammates Irwandie Lakasek and Wan Abdul Rahman Hamdan were sixth and eighth respectively.
