After the first races, "Natalino" - as he is affectionately called by the team - seems to slowly repay the trust granted. He himself comments on the debut: “ I am really happy with my performances in this start of the season . He raced my first competitions in Europe as a professional and the sensations were excellent ”.
“I feel really good on this team. - continues the young Eritrean speaking of Androni - Both the staff and the companions are really kind and do their utmost to create a serene atmosphere ".
The Eritrean rider's thoughts also go to his homeland, a land that for now does not have a great cycling tradition but that loves this sport. “ In Eritrea cycling is very famous even if unfortunately we don't have enough races to be able to grow and compare ourselves with others. Despite this we have good athletes and I hope that one day the presence of my compatriots in the professional teams will increase ”.
Two models to imitate. “ I have always admired Chris Froome for his way of tackling climbs and Grand Tours, while for his fighting spirit I really like Peter Sagan . In addition, even if they have arrived in professionalism for less time, I was very impressed by Mathieu Van Der Poel and Wout Van Aert ”.
Natnael says he has already settled down and appreciates our local traditions, even the culinary ones. “ In Italy I feel at home . It is a country suitable for cycling and training. I live near Lucca, the climate is perfect there and I don't miss anything. Italy is also the country of the best food in the world. I like to eat pizza and in the morning I have a little vice, I always take a cappuccino with a nice slice of cake ".
In conclusion, clear ideas on what could be the goal for a memorable career. “ My dream is to win a prestigious stage race like the Giro d'Italia or the Tour de France”.
