PRESIDENT KIIR DISCUSSES SUDAN'S CONFLICT WITH REGIONAL LEADERS
RIYADH, 11 November 2023 (PPU): President Kiir on Saturday met his counterparts from Eritrea, Kenya, Djibouti and Sudan to discuss the conflict in Sudan.
The meetings held in the Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh focused on ways to resolve the ragging war in Sudan.
Both President William Samoei Ruto of Kenya, Isaias Afwerki of Eritrea, Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti expressed their support to President Kiir's peace efforts in Sudan.
Foreign Minister Dr. James Pitia Morgan said regional leaders have given their full support to President Kiir to continue engaging the Sudanese political and military leaders to find an amicable solution to the eight months conflict.
Dr. Morgan also said the President will soon host meetings with the Sudanese political leaders and the current warring parties to review the situation in the country.
