Russia and Eritrea are interested in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation


Russian Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Eritrea’s Charge d’Affaires in Moscow Naizgi Tesfacion Hagos expressed interest in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation during their meeting, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.


The Russian Foreign Ministry indicated that the focus on deepening political dialogue and close coordination of approaches in the UN and other multilateral platforms on international and African agendas of mutual interest has been confirmed.

MOSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Chargé d'Affaires of Eritrea in Moscow Naizgi Tesfatsion Hagos confirmed the interest of the two countries in expanding mutually beneficial trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation.

"During the conversation, the continued interest of Moscow and Asmara in expanding mutually beneficial trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation was confirmed," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement .

The Russian diplomatic mission indicated that during the meeting, the focus on deepening political dialogue and close coordination of approaches in the UN and other multilateral platforms on international and African agendas of mutual interest was also confirmed.
