Why America Is Heading Into a 2nd Revolutionary War

There’s talk in America about a second Civil War coming, but what’s needed is instead a second Revolutionary War — not like the first one, to overthrow a foreign aristocracy, but to overthrow America’s own aristocracy (the super-wealthy few individuals who control — by the revolving door between public offices and highly paid private employment that is also controlled by them — they control both America’s Deep State within the federal bureaucracy, and the politicians who appoint those civil-service employees to higher executive levels in that bureaucracy; and, so, these super-wealthy few who appoint the appointers, actually ARE — they control — America’s Deep State). In other words: America’s super-rich control this Government, and therefore must be overthrown in order for the public to take back control over the Government that rules us.

The Civil War was based geographically on North versus South, and ideologically on slavery versus equal rights for all; but what’s needed now is to replace today’s American aristocracy — our billionaires — by a democracy: an authentic rule by the public, instead of (like now) rule by the dollars.

The core of the present American conflict is therefore the contest between the idea that control of the Government (like in a corporation, where control depends upon how many shares you have) is aristocratic (based upon how many dollars you have), versus the idea that Americans increasingly desperately NEED to apply in this country, which is democracy, where control of the Government depends instead upon how many (truthfully informed) voters you have. (In today’s America, they’re NOT truthfully informed, because the billionaires control also the media and think tanks, etc.)

In today’s American elections, the billionaires contest against each other by their ‘news’-media and other influencers of the voters, so as to determine which faction of billionaires will dominate the Government, and this is an aristocratic contest in deceit against the public, to determine which side of the aristocracy will be in control of it. (Instead of authentic elections, we have billionaires’ s‘elections’ of nominees, and then public elections of which of those nominees will win.) But it is nonetheless an aristocracy, and not a democracy, because the public’s role in these ‘elections’ is no more important than is the role of a chess-player’s pawns as compared to that player’s king, whose fate actually determines 100% of the game’s outcome. U.S.-and-allied political ‘scientists’ ignore this crucial reaity and pretend that today’s America is a democracy, but it IS the reality in American politics: ONLY the money rules this country — regardless of whether the Republican or the Democratic faction of it does. 

In other words: America has become a dictatorship by the country’s richest 1% of its richest 1%, against the remaining 99,999 out of 100,000 of the population, and the only practical question in an American national election is whether the 30% of the nation’s total political money that is donated by the richest 400 American billionaires will be going mainly to the Republican, or instead to the Democratic, Party. Usually, it doesn’t make much of a difference, because all American billionaires are neoconservatives — they place as their highest political priority America’s continuing to grow its (THEIR) international empire — already the largest in all of the world’s history — to encompass ultimately all other countries — or, as Barack Obama repeatedly phrased this, “The United States is and remains the one indispensable nation”, which means that all other countries are “dispensable.” He spoke there for all American billionaires, not MERELY for the Democratic ones, because the one thing that all of them agree on is that America must come to control EVERY nation. It isn’t enough for them to control ONLY their own Government — they crave to control the entire world. This is the essence of the world’s largest-ever empire: today’s American empire — it demands to become total. (If you read the reports by the Rand Corporation, American Enterprise Institute, Brookings Institution, etc., they make this very clear.)

In order to be able to do this, America now has 900 foreign military bases, and an annual total military expense of over 1.5 trillion dollars (which includes not only the $900B to the ‘Defense’ Department but the additional $600B+ that’s paid out of the Treasury Department, the Veterans Affairs Department, the Homeland Security Department, the Energy Department, NASA, the FBI, and the intelligence agencies — which $1.5T annual expense is equivalent to the total annual military expenses of every other nation on Earth put together. This $1.5T per year (half of the entire world’s total) has to come from what would otherwise have been productive (instead of such purely destructive) federal-Government spending for the American people: healthcare, education, social security, and general welfare.

I have travelled around this country ever since around 1955; and, until the year 2000, it looked like an economy that was continually growing, not necessarily better-looking but with more and more structures and with relatively few of them being vacant, abandoned, or dilapidated. However, after 2000, and especially after the 2008 crash, which was followed by Barack Obama’s bail-outs to America’s billionaires, America’s landscape has become increasingly run-down, and so it seems natural to me that this country’s ever-widening economic inequality, which has continued to be beneficial to America’s wealthiest, is increasingly coming at the expense of the poorer approximately 95% (if not even 99.99%) of the population; and, so, the uncomprehending incoherent mass of the American people are arising now in protest against what the billionaires have done, but not understanding that the billionaires are the people who actually have been doing it. Instead, it is, to this rising mass, “foreigners,” “minorities,” etc., who are being assumed to be what the prevailing ‘historical’ myths, within our culture, have traditionally portrayed as being the “them,” against their “us.” Americans have been taught that any economic-class-based — as opposed to race-based — analysis is “Marxist,” and almost all political leftists have stupidly been accepting that false equation between leftism and Marxism, though Marx’s theories were so stupid on so many things, that even Marxist countries have silently abandoned them — yet, still, leftist politicians refuse to criticize Marxism. In America, this — leftists’ refusal to make clear that Marx, like all other philosophers, had nothing to teach actual social (including political, and economic) scientists — is perhaps the biggest reason why the left in America (if not everywhere) has always been weak. And perhaps the biggest of all of Marx’s stupidities is that he blamed the middle class, “the bourgeoisie,” INSTEAD of blaming the far-fewer super-rich or “aristocracy,” for society’s corruptness and injustices. Leftism will always fail unless and until it abandons Marx — because what has ALWAYS been the basis (the sponsors) of corruption and of injustice is the aristocracy. Indeed: Marx’s blaming the bourgeoisie — the middle class  — has always protected the aristocrats from being blamed as the source for corruption and injustice.

Furthermore: leftist politics started long before Karl Marx was even born. Equating the political left with Marxism is not only idiotic, it is ignorant.

On America’s political left are the hired agents of Democratic Party billionaires, and you can hear a representative leftist (Democratic Party) analysis of the 2024 Presidential-election result, by listening to “the New Yorker Radio Hour” program on November 8th, titled “Donald Trump’s Reëlection, and America’s Future”. It presents the false underlying assumption that the Democratic Party (which means its leadership, which means its megadonors) really care about and oppose the now-longstanding wealth-siphoning in this country, taking from the middle class and giving that to the super-rich. It also is fully in accord with neoconservatism, which is advocacy for further expansion of the Amrican empire throughout the world.

On America’s political right is instead the hired agent of Republican Party billionaires, Donald Trump himself, who in his campaign’s 21 March 2023 “Agenda47: President Trump’s Plan to Dismantle the Deep State and Return Power to the American People”, said (and you can see and hear him say it by clicking onto that):

Here's my plan to dismantle the deep state and reclaim our democracy from Washington corruption once and for all, and corruption it is.

First, I will immediately re-issue my 2020 Executive Order restoring the President's authority to remove rogue bureaucrats. And I will wield that power very aggressively.

Second, we will clean out all of the corrupt actors in our National Security and Intelligence apparatus, and there are plenty of them. The departments and agencies that have been weaponized will be completely overhauled so that faceless bureaucrats will never again be able to target and persecute conservatives, Christians, or the left's political enemies, which they're doing now at a level that nobody can believe even possible.

Third, we will totally reform FISA courts which are so corrupt that the judges seemingly do not care when they are lied to in warrant applications. So many judges have seen so many applications that they know were wrong, or at least they must have known. They do nothing about it, they're lied to.

Fourth, to expose the hoaxes and abuses of power that have been tearing our country apart, we will establish a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to declassify and publish all documents on Deep State spying, censorship, and corruption, and there are plenty of them.

Fifth, we will launch a major crackdown on government leakers who collude with the fake news to deliberately weave false narratives and to subvert our government and our democracy. When possible, we will press criminal charges.

Sixth, we will make every Inspector General's Office independent and physically separated from the departments they oversee so they do not become the protectors of the Deep State.

Seventh, I will ask Congress to establish an independent auditing system to continually monitor our intelligence agencies to ensure they are not spying on our citizens or running disinformation campaigns against the American people, or that they are not spying on someone's campaign like they spied on my campaign.

Eighth, we will continue the effort launched by the Trump administration to move parts of the sprawling federal bureaucracy to new locations outside the Washington Swamp. Just as I moved the Bureau of Land Management to Colorado, as many as 100,000 government positions can be moved out. And I mean immediately out of Washington to places filled with patriots who love America, and they really do love America.

Ninth, I will work to ban federal bureaucrats from taking jobs at the companies they deal with and that they regulate. So they deal with these companies and they regulate these companies and then they want to take jobs from these companies. Doesn't work that way—such a public display cannot go on and it's taking place all the time, like with Big Pharma.

Finally [tenth], I will push a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on members of Congress.

This is how I will shatter the deep state and restore government that is controlled by the people and for the people.

Then, in his 19 July 2023 untitled 36-second Trump Social video, he said (which likewise sounds more like progressive democratic political left, than anything right wing):

“This is the final battle. With you at my side, we will demolish the Deep State, we will expell the war-mongers from our government, we will drive out the globalists, we will cast out the communists Marxists and fascists, we will throw off the sick political class that hates our country, we will rout the fake news media, and we will liberate America from these villains, once and for all."  

Is any of that to be trusted as representing what he really wants? I doubt it. Here is why:

On 22 November 2016, the Washington Post headlined “A brief history of the ‘Lock her up!’ chant by Trump supporters against Clinton” and documented that Trump himself had promised his supporters that if he won in 2016, his Administration would prosecute her (who was perhaps the worst-ever U.S. Secretary of State), but, as soon as he won, he never followed-through to even try to do that. The fools who have voted for him expecting him to do any such thing, never pressed him on his (as it turned out) lie. It’s this impunity — not only of Clinton but of Trump — which would end if an authentic 2nd American Revolution will start. But this will never happen unless the American public will first demand that the chief financiers of America’s thoroughly corrupt political system will, indeed, go to prison for having robbed the American public of our democracy — bought it off, and grabbed control over our Government. If they can’t get life in prison for this, then the American people can’t ever get a democracy, and it will remain only a ‘democracy’ — and continue to rot.

The first thing which would need to happen, however, is for all Trump voters to hiss him in public if he WON’T this time follow through on the progressive promises — all of them — that he made on 21 March 2023 and then 19 July 2023, and for them to chant, in chorus, “Lock him up!” Because, if they want to get rid of America’s Deep State, they will need to get rid of America’s billionaires, or of those individuals’ wealth (their crime being theft of American democracy, by means of their bribing politicians and winning the propaganda from them); and the propaganda against doing this (fighting the Deep State) will be all-encompassing. But that would be the 2nd American Revolution, if the public really WANT it, and are up to dealing with it. And this would mean turning against all American Presidents after John F. Kennedy. Because we’ve had nonstop rot after his Presidency, and also after FDR except for Kennedy (Truman and Eisenhower created the Military-Industrial Complex and the U.S. empire). We need to continue, and to impose, what FDR had so carefully planned.

Trump says that he demands loyalty from his subordinates; and it is correct that an elected public official should do this. But every public official has taken an oath to serve the public, via the Constitution, and any who does otherwise is truly a public enemy (as almost all recent Presidents and members of Congress have been). In a democracy, all citizens are equal under the law, and no political megadonor has any right to be treated by the Government as being superior to any other citizen, in any way. If a megadonor subsequently finds that Trump has not fulfilled on what he had promised that person privately, then that’s okay; but if a voter — ANY voter — finds that Trump has not fulfilled on what he had promised publicly, then that’s very NOT okay, and no such voter has any reason to be loyal to ANY such politician — who is instead a traitor to his country. Any such voter is therefore obligated to turn against any such politician, for having deceived the public about what his/her policies would be.

America is heading toward a 2nd Revolution, but this is the ONLY way that it would be able to be a successful one, as the first one was. There must first be accountability, in accord only with justice — nothing else.

And what about the Democratic Party going forward? It will need to be terminated and replaced by a genuinely progressive Party, just like the Whig Party was replaced when the progressive Abraham Lincoln started the Republican Party in 1860 — which tragically got taken over by the northern aristocracy as soon as he was assassinated, and turned into a purely pro-aristocratic Party.

Americans need to do better, if we really WANT a democracy.

America is heading into a 2nd Revolution, and the main question is whether or not it will be a successful one, as the original one was. The key to success will be accountability. Maybe Trump will lead it; but, if he won’t, then the American people MUST — with him, or without him, it must be done.
