Col. Douglas Macgregor Says Trump’s Appointment of Sebastian Gorka Is Stupid & Dangerous

Colonel Douglas Macgregor is one only 5 military analysts who have been right on everything they’ve said and predicted regarding the Ukrainian war (and other earlier wars); and, so, he’s one of only five individuals whose statements about this war I take as being evidence, and not only as being mere allegations. (The only other four military experts I would cite are: Stephen Bryen, Scott Ritter, Brian Berletic, and Lawrence Wilkerson.)
On November 26th, a 45-minute interview of Macgregor headlined
“Col Douglas Macgregor: The TERMINAL PHASE of the Ukraine Russia War”, where Macgregor said, at 8:42: “Most of these Cabinet picks — there are some exceptions, but many of them are — are pretty disturbing, and I don’t think much will go well if the recent statements by the[m] … are any example, … and I think we’re going to see evidence for that in the weeks and months ahead, if nothing changes, and I don’t think much will go well if the recent statements by the[m] are any example.” He says that (despite Trump having promised big changes on foreign affairs) Trump is actually just Joe Biden in a different PR package. Macgregor points out the use of U.S.-and-allied ’news’-media as propaganda-agencies. He refers to “the irrationality that governs the United States and Western Europe — there’s no question about that.” He says that “The people that are in power right now cannot retreat from the stupid policy positions that they’ve taken for years. If they were [instead] to stand up and say, well, the truth is, the war is lost, there’s nothing we can do about it, and we’re going to have to live with whatever the Russians ultimately decide they want — [it] is impossible, if you say that, then you are capitulating to the truth.”
He is saying that they won’t do this (say that Russia will win this war). (And no American politician will say the deeper truth: that
the U.S. Government — NOT the Russian Government — STARTED the war in Ukraine.) So, what’s the alternative (to speaking and writing the truth about this war)? The alternative is to continue trying to provoke Russia to follow through with its warnings to militarily, perhaps with missiles, attack the nations (U.S., UK, and France) that are supplying those long-range weapons to Ukraine and authorizing Ukraine to use them against not merely Russians in Ukraine, but instead Russia itself — up to and iincluding The Kremlin, as Biden has now authorized. Biden DID cross Russia’s red line (endanger Russia’s national security) there.
“Voting these people out has turned out to be very very much in everybody’s interest in Europe and here in the United States. … But now we see evidence for the same kinds of thinking and behavior and attitudes showing up in what we THOUGHT would be a fundamentally new Administration that woud break with the recent past. It’s not happening.” That’s at 15:16, and then the interviewer breaks in to ask: “So, let me ask you something Doug from your … fight in Iraq in Desert Storm in 1991” which didn’t actually occur at all in Iraq but in Kuwait.
Macgregor had gotten as far as the point in the discussion for him to be asked how likely he thinks that WW3 will happen instead of America’s terminating merely its objective to control the entire world, instead of to terminate its war against Russia. This is, of course, the natural next question, but it wasn’t asked. I don’t attribute that failure to any evil intent by the interviewer, but to that person’s stupidity — that he can’t even imagine the possibility that WW3 might result from this, even result soon from it. But that’s the reality: it could.
Macgregor, being the great journalist that he is, ignored that question about Iraq, and he quickly continued by saying that regardless of anything that America and its ‘allies’ do, Russia is FAR better equipped to win any non-nuclear war against NATO than they are, and that Russia is extremely willing to not HAVE to invade any NATO-member nation.
But will U.S./NATO accept Russia’s winning in Ukraine?
Then, at 21:15, the interviewer brings in: “Then you have nuckleheads like General David Petraeus … said this yesterday: [VIDEO of Petraeus — wearing his KKR, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts armamaments manufacturers’, vest — speaking]: ”I don’t think we’re on the cusp of World War Three but … [in] the U.S. and Western relationship with China, what we have to do is … deter something that we don’t want … make sure that intense competition doesn’t turn into actual confrontation — the way you do that is deterrence, deterrence rests on adversaries’ assessment of your capabilities [such as how much money the U.S. ‘Defense’ Deparment is buying from the armaments manufacturers that are in KKR’s investment portfolio].” So much for the Military-Industrial Complex’s sales-pitch.
Mysteriously, Macgregor himself failed here by ignoring the U.S.’s prodding Taiwan to declare independence from China so that the weapons that Taiwan has purchased from the U.S. will then be used for attacking China with the backing of the U.S. Government — and thus a yet-different scenario for the U.S. to provoke WW3.
But, anyway, it’s now clear that Macgregor, whom Trump had asked to plan America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, and whose assignment from Trump then got cancelled by Trump because Trump decided to let President Biden handle that prickly task, has now thrown in the towel altogether on any hope that Trump will do anything that America’s Deep State — America’s billionaire-class — opposes.
PS: If you like this article, please email it to all your friends or otherwise let others know about it. None of the U.S.-and-allied ‘news’-media will likely publish it (nor link to it, since doing that might also hurt them with Google or etc.). I am not asking for money, but I am asking my readers to spread my articles far and wide, because I specialize in documenting what the Deep State is constantly hiding. This is, in fact, today’s samizdat.
