Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., questioned Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y. [Trump’s appointed U.N. Ambassador], on Tuesday in her confirmation hearing for ambassador to the U.N.
Stefanik appeared before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee the morning after President Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th president.
Stefanik, a loyal Trump ally, is chair of the House Republican Conference, and was the youngest woman ever elected to Congress when she won her seat in 2014. While she has little foreign policy experience, Stefanik has been vocal about Israel and its war with Hamas. She has called for a “complete reassessment” of the U.S.’s funding for the U.N.

VAN HOLLEN: Regarding “Gaza and beyond, President Trump has an opportunity to bring some light at the end of a very dark tunnel we find ourselves in, the latest being the horrific Hamas attacks of October 7th. … Long-term peace must include security, self-determination, and dignity for Israelis and Palestinians alike. … I’d just like today to hear you say that that’s your view.”
STEFANIK:
She immediately evaded his question and responded, “I’d like to put that question in the context of the day after question [a different question]. I think President Trump is uniquely positioned at this very challenging moment to bring peace to the region …” She continued by claiming that Hamas is the only problem.
VAN HOLLEN then demanded “a yes or no” to the question he had asked (whether “Long-term peace must include security, self-determination, and dignity for Israelis and Palestinians alike”). She said, “I support human rights for all, and I think it’s a disgrace that Hamas and Hezbollah have stripped human rights of the Palestinian people. … Israel is standing up for human rights. It is a beacon of human rights.”
VAN HOLLEN:
“Do you believe that the Palestinians have the right of self-determination?”
STEFANIK:
She immediately evaded the question and said “I believe the Palestinian people deserve so much better than failures that they’ve had.”

Here are the specific biblical passages that she was relying upon, as constituting history instead of mere myth, for that answer to Van Holland’s last question:
Genesis 15:18-21
“On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abraham and said, ‘To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt [the Nile] to the great river, the Euphrates, including the lands of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amoriotes, the Caananites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.’”
Deuteronomy 7:1-2
“You must not let any living thing survive among the cities of these people the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance: the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Caananites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. You must put them all to death.”
Deuteronomy 7:16
“Destroy every nation that the Lord your God places in your power, and do not show them any mercy.”
Deuteronomy 20:16-18
“When you capture cities in the land he Lord your God is giving you, kill everyone. Completely destroy all the people: the Hittites, the Amorites, the Caananites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, as the Lord has ordered you to do. Kill them so that they will not make you sin against the Lord by teaching you to do all the disgusting things they do in the worship of their gods.”
Those are the passages that inspired Zionism and that today inspire Zionists. including Trump, Biden, and even RFK Jr., and almost everyone in Congress, and not MERELY the Zionists in Israel. So, when the Zionist Stefanik says that Israel should include Palestine, where the Palestinians live, and cites the Bible, she's just another Zionist, and another believer in the Bible being (like Hitler called it) the "Monumental History of Mankind.” (Hitler drew from the whole Bible as being inerrant Scripture — including such alleged anti-Jewish statements from Jesus as John 8:44, Matthew 23:31-38, and Luke 19:47, but Zionists accept as inerrant Scripture ONLY the Bible's first five books, which they call the the Torah, which includes both Genesis and Deuteronomy and thus those Commandments that were just cited here.) This is why she believes that Israel has a ‘biblical right’ to the West Bank and Gaza. In that view (the view of all Zionists), all non-Jews who live in those two areas — Palestine — don’t belong there and must be eliminated like the Torah says, because all of that land was given by ‘God’ to only Jews.

Stefanik’s biggest political campaign contributor is the biggest Israeli PAC, AIPAC. Her 2nd-biggest donor had donated less than one seventh as much, and was Apollo Global Management, which was founded by Leon Black, son of Eli Black, who had been the founder of United Brands, which long controlled the banana republic of Guatemala due to Eisenhower’s successful 1954 Allen Dulles CIA coup there overthrowing the progressive democratically elected President Arbenz and installing the long line of brutal military dictators that followed. So, Trump appointed for the U.N. a person who has such owners, to represent the United States at the United Nations.
On January 20th, I had headlined “Trump’s plan for Ukraine is a total non-starter.” His biggest achievement-promises concerned the wars in the Middle East and in Ukraine; so, if he fails in BOTH of them, then his entire foreign-policies program can’t be better than mediocre even if all the rest of it (such as conquering or otherwise winning Greenland and the Panama Canal) are huge successes; his Presidency is already a failure regarding his foreign-policy promises, unless he promptly changes them drastically so as for them not to be downright stupid as they currently are — if he can even DO that. Already in the first two days of his Presidency he’s virtually certain to be a very bad President, just like all of the U.S. Presidents this century so far were.
