Algerian Hamza Yacine (Team Madar Pro-Cycling) won the second stage of the TAC 2025 in the final sprint, held this Monday between Constantine and Sétif over a distance of 145.5 km, in 3 hours, 28 minutes and 51 seconds.

The Algerian runner came ahead of Maekele Milkiyas (Eritrea national team) and Mohamed Nadjib Assal (MC Alger), who both clocked the same time.

Already the winner the day before of the first stage between Guelma and Constantine (103 kilometers), Hamza Yacine retains the yellow jersey of leader of the 2025 Algerian cycling tour.

As a reminder, eighty-three (83) runners took the start of the second stage of the 25th edition of the TAC-2025 on Monday.

On Tuesday, the TAC-2025 peloton will head to the city of Batna for the 3rd stage of the TAC 2025, 130.6 km long.

Included in the calendar of the Africa Tour of the International Cycling Union (UCI), the 2025 Tour of Algeria and the three Grand Prix, placed under the control of a college of race commissaires, chaired by the Belgian Patrick Demunter, will be an important stage in collecting points in preparation for the 2025 Road World Championships, scheduled for the first time on the African continent, in Rwanda.
