Only an Extreme Evil Demon Demonises
I read an article written by an Ethiopian ex-president by the name Teshome Mulat Wirtu overloaded with a litany of copy and paste narration vilifying Eritrea and our Jewel President, His Excellency Isaias Afewerki. What an immense travesty of justice and bankruptcy
of evidence based wisdom?
To be honest I was not angry or furious that such a shit (Qizen in Amharic and
Sher-E in Tigrigna) piece came from the torso of an Ethiopian politician. We Eritreans have become desensitized to such evil😈 and disinformation agendas from numerous Ethiopian elites predicated on their desperation. I thought not rebuking all
the garbage and fallacious allegations as this would be tantamount to dignifying these egregious lies. I also believe these are not Boolean allegations but pure allegations. Instead I preferred to lay down my take on this disdainful article as briefly enumerated
below.
1. This article is not about Opinions as Aljazeera has posted it. In point of fact, it is an article of unfounded
Allegations. All these Allegations without exception, are without any shred of evidence and sourced from pervious falsified narrations by sworn enemies of our beloved country and its indomitable President. They are all in absolute contradiction to
what His Excellency President Isaias Afewerki said all along about his concern and prevailment of Ethiopia as a country. After all, didn’t Eritrea save Ethiopia from disintegration during the last war waged in the country? The truth is there. The testimony
of the now Judas Iscariots Ethiopian elites is a blinding evidence of the ever constructive stance of Eritrea and its wise leaders as regards the relationship between the two countries. But the character of these Ethiopian elites is laced with deliberate falsehood
and disinformation. Out of desperation and due to the spectacular failure of their futile agenda as afflicted by the Red Sea syndrome, they invariably come up with such stinking litter year in and year out relentlessly.
Here I also would like to underline the dubious of journalistic credibility of Aljazeera. Notwithstanding of this news channel’s deleterious stand on Eritrea, to post an article of such nature and label it as an opinion, is either a deliberate gloss over or
a serious deficit of intellectual grounding. I reckon the last reason may be the most likely. If an editor cannot differentiate between an opinion and a falsified allegation, what use is in there?
2. The Ethiopian ex-president alleges that the Amhara Fano fighters have been engineered by Eritrea. This is an absolute denigration of the Amhara people’s legitimate cause who are sacrificing their young men and women to ascertain and protect
their identity having been marginalised subjected to detrimental victimization simply because of their Amhara ethnicity. This really is unpardonable. In other words he saying the Amhara people are unable to think for themselves and they need outside power
to tell them to fight for their right. This is BEINKRT LAY JERO DEGF as the Amharic idiom has it. I hope the Fano fighters and some brave Amharas who feel aggrieved, will hold this fellow to account. He should not get away with such humiliating
disparaging insulting assertion. 40 + million people need to be awaken by external force? No words for such injurious and derogatory assertion!
3. Equally Mr. Wirtu, the ex- president also alleges the current inner fighting and squabbles within the Tplf is driven by Eritrea. Again this audacious
allegation in this article denigrates the Tplf leadership by the same measure as above under item 2. This allegation tells us that the Tplf is tearing itself apart at the behest and order from Eritrea. Wow! Tplf are you listening?
4. What is also extremely mind baffling is about the persona and character of the ex-president. Who can believe that this person had been a president of a country with 120 million people? He may probably be at least 60+ years old. A person of this age
and status (President?) to literally lie to defame an innocent country and its government is well below the threshold of presidential qualification. If one were to glean from what he has written and was to plot his position on a coordinate plane graph, it
would be on the negative quadrants of the X and Y axis. Clearly one would not expect from a president of a country such an absolute luck of morality and integrity. I would not be proud but ashamed if my country has a president of such character. Presidential
function is a dignified and trusted position earning a respected status. The writer of this article is infinity far.
5. Lastly your motive Mr. Wirtu to write such an audacious trash, is driven by your malicious intent to show Eritrea and its able political leadership in bad light. You hope by doing this, the international community will rein on self-confident, self-reliant
and independent minded Eritrea. You can try but you can be sure you will dramatically end-up crashing against the solid rock fence Eritrean wall.
