Kagoshima Marathon: Dejen from Eritrea wins for second consecutive year
The Kagoshima Marathon, a race that runs through the streets of Kagoshima, was held, and Eritrean runner Dejen won the tournament for the second consecutive year.

The many runners who had gathered in front of Dolphin Port took off at the sound of the starting gun.
"This year marks the seventh Kagoshima Marathon.
A total of 8,167 people participated in the full marathon, running through the city and along Kinko Bay.
Local citizens cheered on the runners along the route with drumming and dancing, and a special JR cheer train also ran, with passengers waving from the windows to cheer on the runners near Sengan-en Station, which opens on the 15th.
The men's title and women's title went to Dejen Tesfalem-Weldoo from Eritrea, Africa, and Miyuki Uehara, respectively, who both achieved their second consecutive victories.
