Minawi reveals details of his visit to Eritrea: Afwerki's warnings and foreign plots threatening Sudan

Follow-ups - Al Rai Al Sudani - The Governor of Darfur, Field Marshal Minni Arko Minawi, announced that he had made an official 24-hour visit to Eritrea, during which he met with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki, where they discussed a number of issues of common concern between Sudan and Eritrea.

Speaking at a Ramadan iftar for journalists at his home in Port Sudan, Minawi quoted President Afwerki as stressing the need for the Sudanese leadership to be more decisive in confronting foreign ambitions, warning that what is happening in Sudan could have repercussions for other countries in the region.

Minawi pointed out that the crisis facing Sudan is not merely an internal conflict, but rather part of a "manipulated operation" by countries seeking to advance their interests in Sudan and Africa. He noted that some Sudanese parties played a role in bringing the country to this critical stage.

He praised the Eritrean president's vision, considering his analysis of the situation in Sudan to be deeper and more insightful than the positions of many Sudanese politicians.

Minawi emphasized the importance of adopting a purely national vision to save Sudan, free from political alignments. He explained that the solution does not lie in adopting the agendas of Islamists or communists, but rather in finding a Sudanese individual with a clear vision capable of leading the country out of its crisis.

He also stressed that implementing the security arrangements agreement signed in Juba could have prevented the outbreak of the current war and prevented the situation from reaching this level of deterioration.
